5 Secret Tips to Become a Better PC Strategy Gamer And Dominate Your Competitor Easily
How long have you been in the PC strategy gaming subject?
It doesn’t matter what your answer is, if you like playing them then I think you’re ready to know more. Because almost all strategy gamers have some common traits like deep thinking, far vision, steel minded and always hungry to improve their skills.
Why do I know this? Because I like them as well!
Next, I will show you 5 useful tips from my gaming experiences and other top players of the world. They helped me a lot. And although I can’t beat every gamer on Earth, my winning percentages increase drastically when I apply them. Now, it’s your turn to crush your enemy!
Tip #1: Learn the maps until you remember them
There is an interesting fact when you play online with people.
They only use some popular maps to play on. And it’s your job to remember the details of the maps. Because it will hand you an unfair advantage over your competitor.
In Warcraft III for example, creeping is very important. It will help level up your heroes and equip them with better items. If you remember where to creep, what item will drop off and where to harass your enemy, victory is certain!
Tip #2: Be good with the basic strategies
Although in-game strategy is not everything, but it really is a big step toward victory.
Some basic strategy such as fast expanding, tower rush, mass training some kinds of units are widely used in games like Warcraft and Starcraft. But don’t let the word ‘basic’ fool you as they’re very effective and usually punch a serious blow.
Only move to ‘more advanced’ strategies once you master the basics first.
Tip #3: Watch replays
One of my favorite tips is watching replays and I know it helps!
What is your favorite player? I’m talking about top players of the gaming world. It doesn’t matter what your answer is, just learn from him!
You can learn from him through watching replays. Almost all strategy games offer this function. Make good use of it.
Tip #4: Practice makes perfect
How much you know doesn’t matter. If you don’t take actions, you will never become better.
It’s even truer with PC strategy games with many skills to improve. Micro skills, map macro, strategy reading, base building, etc. Just put in some effort everyday and you will see huge results in the long run.
But you must start it!
Tip #5: Equip the best gaming gears
You know what factor will determine the win when two gamers are at the same levels? It’s the gaming gears!
Because a decent
